The successful candidate will oversee all post-sales support and service in the Boston territory for Biosero’s key account customer base of Acoustic Transfer Systems (ATS), Integrated Workcells, and Automation Software. They will perform installations of new Integrated Workcells and a variety of standalone equipment which includes routine maintenance, repairs and corrective updates.

The person in the position will work closely with sales, applications, and integration project team members to assure customer success and account growth. This is a full-time position and requires regular travel, up to 45% outside the immediate Boston, MA territory.

Responsibilities

Biosero is growing its global sales and service teams. This position is critical to maintaining and supporting our current presence and growth in several of our primary customer accounts. The successful candidate will become an automation software and applications subject matter expert and will:

  • Perform installations, IQ/OQ, maintenance, and fast-response repair of Integrated Workcell, Automation Software, and standalone laboratory equipment.
  • Work closely with Biosero product support to repair, document, and improve the performance of all products.
  • Work closely with the applications team to identify, improve, and deliver customer workflow needs.
  • Act as liaison between Project Management, Software Development, Field Service and key account management teams.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs and established service methods.
  • Promote and support service agreement sales.
  • Maintain accurate and timely service documentation, FSM data accuracy, routine reporting of expenses, and spare parts inventory management.
  • Contribute to technical documentation of maintenance procedures and troubleshooting guides.
  • Represent Biosero and the Biosero brand to our key customers with professionalism and a service mindset.

Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Engineering or Life Sciences preferred. Experience in lieu of degree will be considered, preferably with a background in lab automation and scheduling software.
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in operation of liquid handling or robotics, or laboratory equipment service – including maintenance, calibration, and operations – is required.
  • Working knowledge of Acoustic Dispensing and biopharmaceutical research applications is a plus.
  • Proven troubleshooter/problem solver with strong analytic skills and a determination to find win-win solutions.
  • Must be comfortable in the role of subject matter expert and trainer; perform customer training and live software demonstrations.
