Every year we ask ourselves, “WHY?” Why do we work at Biosero? Why do we get up in the morning and come to work? This year’s “WHY” Project, as a team, voted for a cause near to our hearts. We all chose to donate $5000 to the Alzheimer’s Association because of their impact on caregiver, patient, and research support for people suffering from Alzheimer’s.
Jodi Herncjar, Director of Service at Biosero nominated the Alzheimer’s Association. In her nomination, she said, “As I get older, so many of my friends, family, and associates are impacted by Alzheimer’s or dementia. It seems there is a lot of research focusing on both genetics and the environment, as well as possible links to nutrition and other factors. I want to support an organization that is performing holistic research into this area.” We are proud to support such a meaningful cause, near to our hearts.
