As a member of Biosero’s software team, a successful candidate will work on cutting edge Life Sciences scheduling software, instrument drivers and work closely with customers to debug and resolve software and driver issues. The position is full-time and benefits include medical, dental, life insurance and matching 401k.


  • Develop software features and applications using .NET/C# for Biosero’s flagship Green Button GoTM (GBG) scheduling software.
  • Develop instrument control drivers using .NET/C# for Green Button GoTM software.
  • Develop custom software and methods as per customer requirements.
  • Help manage software support requests from service and external customers by closely working with the rest of the software team to resolve issues.
  • Work closely with Integration team to debug and test drivers and Green Button GoTM software on automated work cells.
  • Occasionally travel to customer sites to program workcells, develop and test software drivers and debug software issues (as required).
  • Manage Biosero’s bug tracking tool and participate in weekly triage meetings.


The successful candidate will have the following skill set –

  • BS/MS in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or in Life Sciences with CS experience. Experience in lieu of a degree will be considered, preferably with background in lab automation and scheduling software.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in programming languages (C#, JavaScript, Python, Java etc.) with a minimum of 5 years’ experience programming in .NET/C#/WPF.
  • Working knowledge of communication technologies (Serial, TCP/IP/CAN etc.).
  • Ability to debug networking issues.
  • Proven troubleshooter/problem solver with strong analytic skills and a determination to find win/win solutions.
  • Must be comfortable in role as subject matter expert and trainer; perform customer training and live software demonstrations. Have good oral and written communication skills and communicate effectively with customers
  • Experience in Life Science Automation industry a strong plus
  • Document software issues and solutions and manage Biosero’s bug tracking tool
  • Occasionally travel to customer sites for developing GBG methods and to resolve software and driver issues.
